Default Hypertech ups the game!

According to the November 2011 Off-Road Adventures magazine, the JK Max Energy now has:

Optimized power tuning (same old feature)
Adjustable throttle-body tuning (specifically mentions the Viper)
Adjustable throttle response (looks like it will compete with the SprintBooster)
TMPS adjustment (about time!)
Multiple idle settings (very cool - especially the "automatically raise the idle rpm to provide full alternator charging capacity" when winching feature)
Top-speed limiter (always advertised, never available)
Rev limiter (always advertised, never available)
Cooling fan on/off temps (same old feature)
Tire/Gear calibrations (same old feature)
Engine fan on (new and very cool! pun intended)
Disable traction control (Rubicon only - great to get rid of that POS!)
Enhanced sway bar disconnect (Rubicon only - 2wd, 4wd-hi)
Enhanced diff locker (Rubicon only - 2wd, 4wd-hi)

This is a game-changer!! I can't wait!!!

I would love an option to set the idle engine speed. Mine drops to 500-600 RPM's (ish) and vibrates too much for my taste. 700 RPM's would be perfect and eliminate the vibration.

I wonder if I could turn off the engine tuning features and use it with my hemi. Lists a 5.7 WK, but not a 6.1. I don't want a fried computer but I would really like some of the other features, fan, swaybar, lockers especially with my Rubicon.

Might have to call them.

Give us until November 6th to get the Sema Show off our plate and we should be able to do this using our internet update software.

I'm tired of seeing tuner threads. LOL. If the last two model years aren't getting any love, why do we need to keep seeing new threads?
