So if I hit a nerve, well...you need to find something better to do with your time than get offended by some random person on the interwebz.
You thought I was offended by you being offended the 2011 isn't supported? Far from it! I have MY programmer and love it!

Back on topic. I did notice that the add in Off-Road Adventures magazine states that these four features apparently require the unit to be carried with you to activate:

Engine fan on
Disable traction control (Rubicon only)
Enhanced sway bar disconnect (Rubicon only - 2wd, 4wd-hi)
Enhanced diff locker (Rubicon only - 2wd, 4wd-hi)

Sure hope I'm reading this incorrectly. Really don't want to be carrying the Max Energy with me on the trail. Besides, the OBDII port is already occupied by the Aeroforce gauge.

There are already options available for older model JKs, so why not concentrate on providing one that works with newer models? I understand that comapnies need to keep up their current consumer base, too, but it would seem to me that the first manufacturer to release a tuner for the 2011+ MY JKs is going to dominate the market.

I'm not offended just sadly surprised at the narrow mindedness. Just cause it doesn't help you doesn't make the thread worthless. Maybe you should find something better to do with your time than comment on threads that having nothing to do with you. But hey, it's a free country.

I am a big fan of Hypertech after having multiple UN-resolvable issues with Superchips. I am looking forward to using the new features with my 2010 and appreciate the heads up on these new options.

Still, using your logic, they probably ARE working on providing an option for newer models, i.e. 2012 and up. The 2012's may not need the power but I am sure 2012 owners want all the other options provided by the tuner. What's the point from a business standpoint of putting a bunch of effort into cracking the CPU of a dead engine that affects only one model year?

DITTO! Let us "lowly" guys and gals with 2007 - 2010 who have not upgraded their vehicles get the most out of them we can. The upmost prority is for ALL models to recieve upgrades which I am sure is in the Hypertech's engineers update cycle. I know it takes time for them to "break-in" the code for the newer computers and produce a "safe" update. I will venture to guess that the rest of us had to wait for this to occur for this release to come out because of the 2011 code break!

I agree! PM us now that SEMA is over and let us know how we can update our existing units. Should be a simple firmware update via download I would think?

Yankee, Cerof, AZJeeper, JustMegsb, chuah1, Seanxtr, Driven1, Please PM me your sn# and contact info and I can make it happen

River Runner, Ryan0260, 52001 price will not change and current owners will be able to load this free of charge in a couple days. Please send me your SN# if you want the version now.

Fray, Kwolf, We support Tire and gear on the 2011 and tire size on the 2012's

DustinW8706, Rubibus, We have not pre sold units with promise of support. We have not made any virtual release claims. I think you are confusing us with a SC virtual release.

Traction control (Rubi only) is incorrect my marketing overlooked it when we published the ad it should read traction control delete for all JK's. I also had them add TPMS delete and sway bar delete for those of us running aftermarket.

This new version has every option our competition offers and a lot more. Rock crawl tune turns on when you shift the vehicle into 4Lo, The idle can be programmed to raise automatically when large amp draw pulls on the battery. The cool part is the idle raises to the max output of your alternator not higher than useful idle that absorbs more power than the optimized rpm for the alternator. The plug in idle up should be considered for force charges before using a Welder or airing up all four 40's

Please don't hesitate to call me or PM me with any questions.

Sounds like a great product and I'd like to purchase one for my 2012 when it can do all that.

But to be honest, I'll buy from whichever vendor offers it first!
