I have to assume they have many products to support and just a few really good engineers to support them. It takes time to make sure there are no bugs that may cause issues that could make the Jeep a giant paperweight. They really need to make sure they get it right.

It's just shy of one year ago Hypertech PM'd me with a hint of the goodness to come. They are adding even more than what they hinted back then. This is all goodness.

Having said that, hurry up already!!

This is the feedback I got today after sending my list of SN# to my engineer.

Jay,

We started shipping the new hardware around serial number 144000.When you get a serial number you’re not sure of, pull it up in HyperBase and check the Hardware Version. P45 boards can be updated. P25 boards cannot until middle of next week…

-jbf

Basically anything under sn# 144000 will be finished next week. The P25 boards are the reason this has not been fully released. The PM's sent to me with older hardware SN# I will contact early next week to help us Beta test on the older style hardware. Please understand that my engineer is working on these but is not allowed to abandon his normal calibration responsibilities for new units sold and dlr updates.

Please call me and we can set you up with a return number to swap out the unit for a new hardware, if the time frame is a problem. 800-532-3351

See. Now how many companies would be offering to send u a whole new controller so that u can have this update. Shows what kind of company hypertech is and this is why I would recommend one of these to any of my friends

Time is not an issue for me, I've been without these features for four years :-) however, is there any advantage to have the new version over the older model I have. For example does it have a bigger screen, backlight, do something the old programmer doesn't? Thanks.

Just got off the phone with Jay, just have to say amazing service! Set me up for a new unit, went over some of the new features in greater depth! Phenomenal service. Far superior service then I have received from SC... Can't wait to play with the new features

It does use the same hardware but does way more...

So just to clearify! The Hypertech Max energy now supports the 2011 JK with canned tune power tuning and if so what are the octane ratings?

Cheers

Sorry but I'm not to familiar with Hypertech. I have used Diablo and currently use SCT on my stang. So will this max energy do for my Jeeps motor what my SCT did for my Stang? i.e.: no throttle lag, more HP, more Highway passing power (no more anemic acceleration)...ect!

Cheers
