I messed up!
Maybe a few of you remember but I made the horrible mistake of having a cam bolt kit installled out of desperation. I had no time to wait for lowers and had a 600 mile drive to do and DW was makin it impossible. So my question now is, my castor is currently at +4.5, can I buy uppers to bump it up to 5.5-6 with the cam bolt kit? I recently purchased 315/70/17 bfg at's and it feels a little flighty. No death wobble but def light in the wheel. Thanks in advance
I was going to be careful with increasing your caster.. You might "invite" DW.
Your larger tire is increasing the scrub radius, adding caster will increase this even more..
Before you do anything have a good road force tire balance and a professional alignment check done.. Toe, caster and SAI reading and differences (if any) are very important to know first....
Just my humble advice..
p.s I don't trust this cam bolt feature..

anyway... personally I would remove the cams, weld up the CA mount and get lowe adjustable control arms
Umm, wow, what he said...
So, yes, keep the cams on the lowers, get the uppers to help dial in the caster, and when you find some more cash - get rid of those bolts and add some lowers.

What size lift are you running... if your over 3 inches you would benefit from a high steer kit. I know your on a budget but if you plan on replacing your cam bolts with lower control arms you mind as well not waste money on uppers, 4.5 degrees should be O.K. for now, an its what some people recommend.
