i need help...2.5 lift
2009 jk sahara! I ordered a 2.5 spacer lift and 2.5 skyjacker shocks. I had them installed...well the front end still had that common factory rake only This time the jk was lifted.....I didn't like it so I had them remove the rear spacers...NOW a lot more level it needs about 1/2" in the rear those are on order...is it OK to run it with 2.5 shocks in the rear with no spacer? Just the isolater? I mean the Jeep is aesthetically pleasing now with only the 2.5 spacer in the front....please post your comments...
Something doesn't seem right. Your Jeep shouldn't have 2" of rake. Maybe 1" or less. Who makes the spacer lift that you bought? I think most of the manufacturers take into account the factory rake and adjust the size of their spacers to level the ride out. I.e. a 2.5" spacer lift will actually be a 2.5" spacer in the front, and a 1.75" spacer for the rear. I know that how the leveling kits work, and I think it's the same for regular spacer lifts
. Either way, to answer your original question, yes, you will be OK running those shocks so long as you don't flex out the rear too much. In other words, stay on paved roads. The longer shocks will allow your suspension to droop too much and your rear springs will be in danger of falling out.

Thanks, so since I'm not running the oe shocks in the rear should I put them back on? I'm getting a 1/2 spacer for the rear. It looks good the way it is but it seems like it needs just a little more iin the rear. I plan to do a little offroading...it seems like the shocks in the rear are to long because there 2.5...I have no idea what I'm doing....the lift kit came with 2.5 in front and 2.5 in rear... it raked so I removed the rear....looked a lot better without it
