Default i need to paint hardtop

I just got my Sahara 4-door jeep green yesterday , love everything about it except , the khaki hardtop , I need to paint it black ,i think it looks much better in black with the green ,any suggestions ? thanks in advance !!

Have you thought about trying to trade for the black top. Khaki is pretty rare so you might get a taker. Might save some hassle, heck if I was in Florida Id trade ya

Hoe about painting it the Jeep green.You could probably buy a gallon from mopar.

Yea , that is a good idea as well ,i saw a silver one with silver top , not bad!!

Don't do it if you don't have the right paint or equipement. The key is finding the right primer that will bond to the top and provide a good base for the top coat. Getting the surface prepped is probably the most important step.

What is the top made of, its not fiberglass/polyester is it?

I would not try to do it yourself. Take it to a body/paint shop and have the pro do it. The top is too expensive and to big of a focal point on the Jeep to not have a perfect paint job.

x3 on the jeep green also, or something else, be different.
