I've got scratch marks in my body paint from tree limbs that almost disappear where they go across my painted top. My painted top does not have a clear coat on it. The painted top seems more scratch resistant than it was. Painted with Omni MTK Acrylic Urethane.

Well keep them from being as noticeable as a jagged white line looks on the stock hardtop if it gets scratched.
The pictures were from this last Sat which was the Maiden Voyage. I got the jeep 2 weeks ago and only had it painted and lifted last week. It appears that the clear coat should resist scratches really well. There were no scratches to speak of after I cleaned her up and there was plenty of brushing branches on the trail.

Very nice to hear that Fishit, and the Jeep looks great incase I didn't mention it in the last post. Soon as I order all my goodies from AEV, I think I might have to have the shop paint the top along with the hood and bumper.

Fishit, your Jeep looks very nice. I like the silver on silver. I was torn between the silver or green.

I really like the colormatching, but my favorite is when the top is smoothed, and painted so it has the same shine as the rest of the body. Just my 2 cents.

Ususally it is sanding and then using some filler prior to painting. I am hoping to get something similar to this, only in black for in the winter.
