I have an 09 unlimited with a 2.5" fabtech budget lift. took out the spacers a month ago and put in the 2.5" spring hoping for a better ride because i heard that the spacers were why its so rough? didn't change a thing! i dont want any smart ass remarks about the rough ride because i know jeep tend to have them. BUT trust me, this is rough!!!! i have 22" rims on it with low profiles (laugh all you want) but what it the cheapest fix?

The cheapest fix might be to find out what other vehicles your 22" wheels will fit, try to sell them and down size your wheels to an 18, 17 or 16" wheel. A tire with a thicker sidewall will really help soften your ride. If you like the look of large wheels, when you are shopping, choose a wheel without a lip. Wheels with spokes that go all the way to the edge of the wheel tend to appear larger.

Examples of an 18" wheels that will appear large:

As in side wall from he tire to the rim? about 4 to 5 inchs of tire and just fabtech shocks

35s at 26-28psi on 16in wheels, thats what you need. Ask for OME shock if length fit your actual lift.

It is because there is too little sidewall in a 22" tire to allow a real good ride. Also try running less air pressure and see if that helps

Alternate shocks may be another option for you.

The 45 series tires are your problem. Ditch the dubs....

I ran 305/35-24s on my Ram and it was very rough. These guys are right, the sidewall of the tires are causing the issues. Put some stock wheels/tires on it and drive it around, you'll see.
