I really want this setup for my 2008 2 door x. I have a 4" superlift with no other mods....is this a possibilty for me without any other mods?

I bet it will work fine. With the backspacing, you may have minor rubbing when you turn very sharp. Also, most people use 8 inch wide wheels with 12.5 inch wide tires for off road purpose. (more rubber sticking out protects the rims)

Thanks for your response..this is my daily driver, so maybe I wont experience the rubbing so much..do you know how to fix that? Is the solution some type of spacing, or would I have to shave my bumper or something?

if you plan on strictly staying ON road. If you off road with those tires you will get stuck.

Why do you say that? Lack of power? or the rubbing issue?

Its because those tires SUCK in the mud, dirt, wet roads, well just about all around they suck. I had a set of 36's on a dodge a few years ago and hated them!!!

Back when I was in NC and had my lifted Bronco I wheeled with a guy who had those and we called them Thornturds. They suck bad! He was locked and I was not and I got throw stuff with ease and at times he could not; even fully locked.

I think some members have had some driveshaft issues with a 2-door and that much lift. I think Piginajeep had problems because of the angles. Do some research before you go with a 4" to see the best options. I agree with the Thornbird reviews, pretty bad for a DD and not that great on the mud. Better to go with a high quality M/T tire like BFG, Nitto or Toyo, etc.
