Default Improvement question(s)

I'm a bit new to the Jeep scene. Just bought my JK-X about 2 months ago. My goal with getting a Jeep is so that the wife and I can go exploring the more scenic places in Colorado. I really don't have any inclination to go rock crawling or going to the extreme (I know..I know...my loss ). Another thing is I don't have the money to go to that extreme either. What I would like to do is a couple of small changes to my JK to improve my off-road performance when we do go sight seeing, but at the same time try to keep it affordable.

I've been looking at a few lifts and disconnects and I found one that I would like to try, but would like some opinions on. Keep in mind that I only intend to drive offroad on trails rated probably no higher than a 4 (on a scale of 1 to 10).

I found this one on a site. http://www.4wheelparts.com/prodDetail.aspx?partNo=RKSJK2258&jeep-parts=true

It provides a 1.75" lift and also comes with quick disconnects. Bearing in mind what I intend to use the vehicle for is this ok, or am I going a little too cheap? (it's around $200)

Also, I have 17" stock allow wheels, would I be able to put 33" tires on those rims?

Thanks for the answer. I'm keeping my eyes open now for a used set of Rubi rims and am looking into doing the lift I mentioned.

id recommend teraflex bb it comes with so many differnet styles like if u want new shocks bam
or shock extenders swaybars or no sway bars
i think the base price for the tf 2.5 inch bb is 245 for the one with shck extenders and sways
itlle give u clearance for a 35 but a 33 will fit it good to
check out northridge 4x4 its has a great selection and free shipping
