Kinda pricey!!! Saw the install on TruckU on Speed over the weekend...didn't say how it worked. There is a dyno graph if you clicky on the 3.8L(CAI) link on the bottom left.

that is pricey and retarded..a chip needs a CAI to work properly?? i dont think so..to help all the extra fuel being pumped into the engine?? i doubt it..i love my jeep dont get me wrong but i didnt buy it to run 10's in the 1/4 mile...plus that is a ridiculous amount to spend on a chip..you can buy handheld tuners for cheaper..actually you could buy two of them!!

It is a piggy back computer with a CAI "pretune". Essentially they have already modified some of the fueling and timing parameters to account for the extra air flow. It is completely tunable unlike the handhelds, so it can grow with you in the future, even with forced induction. A handheld is absolutley worthless if you ever go Forced induction or nitrous, whereas with this, you could fine-tune for those power adders.

Great subject to touch. What bothers me is the fact that in Europe they have almost every type of adjustment to most vehicles a shop can adjust. I have a JK and Commander, and for commutes I only, it would be nice to adjust to some fuel savings settings. At the same time, if I want to haul a camper, I would like some more torque. Then you have these crappy chips that I seen tons of sorry reviews for. I'm not dropping 300$ for some chip on a 3.7. Where they have always made a difference are on vehicles that have turbos or deiesel. If anyone sees these adjustments abroad for either vehicel, let me know.... The other difference would be to see if they use a different ecu program or string functions that differ from here. Well, I've seen a friend of mine with a dodge ram 2500 with some chip from germany that made his truck get tons of more power and with a flip of a button, here's gets another 10 mpg. But it diesel once again.... Now if we can see this type of "NON RIP OFF" applications out there. Sometimes it starts with the adjustment, then more intake air, but you also need more free flow exhuast. Without the right program 1st, you're trully wasting you money. I have a feeling that our mini-van engines may be max to in certain area....But they do last... how many Caravans are on the road... Any suggestions would be nice... I've hauled my JK with the Commander, so any help is nice....
