Exhaust Mods: None
Fitting Time: 5 Hours (Approx)
[?]These times are for a professional installer using a vehicle hoist and a well equipped mechanical workshop.
If fitting a tank for the first time or you don't have all the tools of the trade you could expect these times to be considerably longer.
Shipping Weight: STANDARD 26 KG (Approx) HD 32 KG (Approx)
Shipping Dimensions: 1010 mm x 420 mm x 620 mm (Approx)
Other Modifications: The Carbon Canister Is Relocated With All Parts Required Supplied In Kit.
Also Available: Also available for the extreme off-roader is the all new Heavy Duty versions featuring a 4mm steel bash plate. These will be custom built to order and will have the part numbers TA64DAHD for diesel and TA64PAHD for petrol (gas) models.
Notes: As a Jeep owner you are naturally adventurous. The 2 door wrangler is now capable of some serious outback touring with the addition of a Longranger Auxiliary Fuel Tank extending the capabilities of the vehicle allowing you to explore every track.
A 63% increase in fuel capacity (diesel models) brings the total capacity to 108lt (Diesel) & 112lt (petrol) carried safely under the vehicle leaving what little interior space you have for the more important thing.
In keeping with jeep’s off road qualities the standard ramp over angle is maintained.
For the diesel a complete new 38mm filler replaces the standard 26mm OEM unit for improved filling.
On a petrol we relocate the vulnerable carbon canister to make way for the new tank along side the tail-shaft.
Supplied with a complete installation kit including a new dash mounted LED switch/gauge enabling a user the option to transfer fuel at the push of a button, while displaying available fuel in the Auxiliary tank.
This tank has been designed to allow for fitment of long travel suspension for extra articulation including Prop shafts with a double-cardinal joint such as those from 'Rugged Ridge', but be warned the diff or tail-shaft uni joint will hit the factory tank bash plate and a double-cardinal is worse with any lift over about 50mm so some modification will be required of the factory tank bash plate.

The 4-door tank is nearly 6 ft long! I don't think the JK has enough space up there.
Gen-right (I believe) makes a higher capacity tank. For the four-doors it's a second tank at 20 gallons give us about 42 gallons total.
Not sure about the two doors however.

18.6, really? When I get close to empty in my 2 door and fill up its at about 14 gallons. I have never ran it all the way to the light coming on but I can't imagine it taking over 4 more gallons from under an 1/8th of a tank. 18.6/8 = 2.3 gallons left.
I'm not calling you a liar but I am just curious as to why I only get 14 gallons, maybe 15 gallons max.

That's for the great info and I don't even mind the sarcasm a bit. I have been reading a few threads on here and other places and Most people having problems with the Gen Right. I've owned a few 5500 series and one tons and have had great luck with Aux tanks.
I just like to keep it simple, with factory tank, factory fuel pump, and factory tank level indicators. You don't have to worry about issues from an aftermarket tank that leaves a person stranded.
