Default Installing Front Spacers

Hey guys, a few months ago I installed my shrockwork front bumper and warn m8000 winch. Needless to say this caused some sagging. I've finally decided that I'll be holding off on a lift for awhile and so I'd like to grab some spacers to level it out. The spacers I found (teraflex 1") are about 35 bucks (no problem) but when I gave them a call to ask about the install cost he quoted me $200 bucks!

Needless to say I'll pass on that, are these hard to install? I searched for a write up but couldn't find anything specific, I might be able to go through a lift write up that installs spacers as well and only use the spacer related portions but I wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing anything.

Do you guys have any links/tips for this?

Here is a link I found thru a search on the write up section...It is for a 2.5 Teraflex BB. Same concept minus the additional steps...Just follow the instructions for the front install...

Good luck

I put on some Skyjacker spacers a few weeks ago, and I have zero mechanical skills. It is not hard at all. Just put the JK up on jack stands, put your jack under the axel of the side you are doing, remove the sway bar bolt and the lower shock bolt then lower the axel just enough so that you can remove the coil spring. Remove the spring, put your spacer in, then put it all back together and do the other side. I am sure there is a certain torque the bolts are supposed to be at, but I dont have the number. I used PFT torque and have been keeping an eye on it to make sure everything is still tight. Good luck.

This is correct and its actually pretty easy. You shouldnt need a spring compressor for the front but after putting my lift on I dont think I would work with springs without one handy.
