Put some 35's on there along with aftermarket bumpers and some camping gear. Now head up to the Sierra's. You will realize your need for a re-gear long before you get up to 7,000 ft. Performance while you are up there won't be so great either.

I have a 2012. And I've been at 13,000 feet 9 times in the last 6 months. No problems here. But I'm 4:10 on stock rubi tires.
