I purchased new super swamper tsl radials about 4 days ago and got them yesterday mounted and balanced.

Here's what I've noticed.

1. My old tires were mickey thompson mtz's size 315x75xr16 which translates to 34.6x11.4r16
2. The interco size I ordered were 36x12.50xr16 (technically taller and wider than the mtz's)
3. Got tires delivered and the tread pattern is awesome
4. driving down the street you can hear the harmonic humm of an off road tire which I love but to others it's just loud.
5. Once mounted the tire is noticeably taller but definatley skinnier than the mickey's What gives???
6. I'm not against tall and skinny's but it's definatley not what I envisioned so I'm trying to let it grow on me.
7. What can a person do if they are un-happy with their tire purchase, I've ordered online, shipped, already paid to have mounted and balanced?
8. I hope they grow on me.

ON a better note, my winch arrived last night and my rock rails should be in today, HOORAY for tax returns.

 

It will grow on you! The narrow tire will achieve better gas mileage and you wont feel every imperfection in the road!
Probably not telling you anything you didnt already know but I hope it helps your thought process.
Make sure you rotate those Swampers a lot! Much softer compound and they will wear faster!!!
