Default IPF H4 Fatboys

Has anyone tried the Fatboys on their JK? Are they street legal or strickly offroad lights? Sorry these won't fit the stock headlights. Just wanting to upgrade my lights without spending too much money.

Thanks, Howdy

Why can't we install a H4 socket on our JK and use the Fat Boys? Has anyone used them on any vehicle? If so do they light up the road better than our stock lights? Thanks.

I've been using them in an IPF e-code head light and they are amazing.

I used a separate set of relays with diodes and capacitors to keep them from humming per another thread on this forum.

I'm not sure about the legality but my son is a police officer and I haven't been ticketed yet. Actually with the IPFs there are very sharp cutoffs and don't seem to bother any oncoming traffic.

Did you do a wrie up? I have been thinking about the Cibies that Daniel Stern sells. I am not too electrically inclined so I need something that is relatively easy.

I use the fat boys on my tj. No comparison with stock lights there. The JK's (my wifes) stock lights are better than stock tj lights, but I think the fat boys would be much better. These are on my honey do list. We only got the JK 3 days ago! It's at the shop today getting a lift and 35" tires.
