Default IROK's or Xterrains?????

Or MTZ'z

First of all, has anybody seen a 36x17 IROK Radial? Are they big and balloonish like my 39.5's were or do they have a flatter tread like the 37's have? If they are balloonish they're out.

If not, I'm torn between IROK's and ProComps. I feel like the Pro Comps might be better on the road but I don't know. I'm sure the IROK radials are different than the bias tires I had. I'm going w/ a 4" lift and can fit 36's easily. I was really torn between 35's and 37's but just figured 37's would be too much for a DD. The 36 IROK's may be a good compromise.

What do you think?

My 39's and 36's are not balloonish at all.

I like the iroks but if it was a daily drive i would go with the X-terrains.

If I had to decide between the two, I would go with the IROK's.

Im tired of seeing X-terrains on everything..........they ride better on the street than Iroks do, but they dont compare when it comes to wheeling......

everything I've heard, the IROKS have dick for street manners... very little rubber contacting the pavement, Tread wears real quickly... that being said, these are not street tires.. their home is solely offoroad. If I had a dedicated trail rig, I'm most likely run them or Krawlers..... but for a DD, I'd look elsewhere... I hate the x-terrains, as they wear way too fast as well, but their road manners are much better.. I just believe the X-terrains are over rated and over priced...

and the IROKs DO have a tendency to look balloonish due to the extremely high tread void...

Honestly, for a combo DD / trail vechicle, I'd look at BFG MT/Km (or wait til fall for the new BFG MT to come out), Nitto Tera grapplers, or even the Mud Grapplers... (although the Mug Grapplers are a bit noisy, but who cares)..
Also look at the Super Swamper SSR's.... theres lots of choices out there. just do some research....

whaddya think I'm doin?

I've had SSR's before and they were great on and offroad except they chunked easily. I was looking again and the MTZ's are actually cheaper than the other two so I may just go that route, It would be nice to have a truly 36" IROK tho instead of a 34.sumthin other tire
