There is the AEV base jack that a lot of people have been using in conjunction w/the factory scissor jack...The base also fits conveniently in the storage compartment...

You can purchase one at Northridge 4x4...Below is some info about the base...

"The AEV Jack Base for 2007-08 Wrangler provides 3-1/2 inches of added lift height to the stock scissors jack - allowing tires of up to 37” or more to be changed with ease and stability. The large 7.5” x 10.5” base gives the jack better stability in off-road and soft soil conditions. Handy compartments in the base store your AEV lug nut extension, and there’s even a slot for the OE wheel lock key. Base is shaped to fit neatly into the rear floor compartment and out of sight. The Jack Base can also double as a wheel chock to prevent a disabled vehicle or trailer from rolling. A must-have for any serious off-road enthusiast."

Aside from that others have been using the HI-Lift jack...Others have mounted them on the hood, inside the JK attached to the roll bar, at the rear next to the spare and the roof...

your lift will actually not do anything to your jack position. your tires would, but actually even a 35 tire would not be so bad, as they said before that aev base is pretty nice, if not a little piece of wood would do the trick,

as mentioned, the aev stand will do the trick with your stock scissor jack and will do it well. that's what i have and use with my 6" of lift

If you off-road, it's more like "when I get a flat ...". I was at the JK-Forum
Disney, OK run a couple weeks ago and two of our five JKs had sidewall
punctures.

As for where to put a Hi-lift: I mounted mine on my hood. You can see that I
have it padlocked in place.

Here's the thread with more info on this:

ToughStuff Hi-lift Hood Mount

But, a couple things before you run out and buy a Hi-lift:

1. If you have stock bumpers and no rock rails, you don't have a good place
to jack with a Hi-lift (unless you want to bend sheetmetal).

2. A Hi-lift is a pain for changing tires. So is the stock scissor jack. So, I carry
a small floor jack under the 40% wide rear seat, as well as a couple short
pieces of 2x6 wood (for just in case). I can still fold down the 60% seat
without removing the jack, and I have the jack secured with a gun lock (for
when running without doors). You can see it nestled up under the rear seat
in this pic here:

Forget a jack...
Just get 3 strong friends to hold the jeep up while you work!

I don't look at using the Hi-lift to get unhung from rocks, and using the floor jack to change the tire of whatever vehicle has a flat (be it a car on the highway that has a missing jack, or a JKer on a trail run) as one job. And, unless one has modified his JK to install a place to jack with the Hi-lift, it still won't do him a lot of good for changing a tire. His use for a Hi-lift is limited to lifting a wheel with the LiftMate, which isn't conducive to changing a tire.
