I have the jack on the hood love the look of it I got my mounts off a guy on cl for 30 bucks but you can get them on eBay for the same price. to the guy who said he'd get tired of looking at, you look at the same jeep every time you drive it and you don't get sick of it, or at least I don't.

Ace mounts were about 40 buck and jack was 75 ish. Have had mine on the hood for 2 1/2 years, used multiple times, no dents in hood.
You have to put the jack on with the foot facing out or it might contact cowl when opening hood.

I keep some WD 40 and a fresh coat of paint on my jack and it works when I need it too.

I'm using warrior products jack mount. They said in the instructions that you should weld on but I just used the bolts and its holding up just fine. No dents or anything. Only problem or found is that I couldn't use my washer fluid so the jack stays off untill I go wheeling.
