Default Jack Stand Placement

Well it looks like I'll be doing my lift install next weekend. What's the best jack stand placement for front and rear? Remember pics help an old geezer like me.

By the way I ended up with the rough country 2.5 coil with shocks and steering stabilizer.

Wish me luck y'all.

Where are you guys using the floor jack to lift the jeep up for the jack stand placement? Can the jeep be jacked in the center of the frame on the side?

I just place the jack under the axle(center or each side), lift it up and place the jack stands right behind the control arm mounts on the frame. Don't forget to put wood front and back of the tires to keep from rolling.

Thanks c dog. Wheel chocks will be gotten before I start.

I also saw online that folks are removing the auto trans skid plate which is right behind the lower arms on the front. It's in the way of the jack stand placement if you don't remove them.

I also found all of my torque specs. I'm chomping at the bit, ready. Now I just need my kit to get here.

I just jacked up my jeep enough to remove the tire, removed the tire, set the jack stand and let her down.

Do you have both front tires off with jackstands on both sides of frame?
