I have the ceramic coated JBA headers and hate them. I'm going back to stock. I have fried plug wires and even the boots. That's not to mention the exploding of grade 8 bolts from the heat. I had to remove the superchips tune to get the heat down. JBA said they were not designed to be used with a cold air intake or chips. I currently have high temp msd plug wires, thermal sleeves on the wires and some special bolts at the collector that are supposed to be good up until 1800 degrees. total PITA. I also carry extra plug wires bcs so many trips have been cut short by burned spark plug wires. I posted in buyers remorse, but don't know how to link.

I'll probably end up wrapping each header with fiberglass header rap to help prevent heat output from the header toward wires and suck. Plus try an utilize the stock heat shield even if it takes some trimming and such.

+1 on the RIPP headers. Great fitment and no problems after 25k miles. There is nothing worse than having your factory headers out and finding out your new headers don't fit right. Ask me how I know lol.

Installed headers myself and ran true dual exhaust with some bullet mufflers from summit racing. Runs good and haven't had any heat issues... Yet haha
