Taking the next step! All that remains now is to decide on lift.

I like that bumper. What's the best way to make that thing black and stay black?

I guess I am going to have to find out. On their website they list some painting suggestions under the products. I will probably keep it simple with rustoleum textured finish.

You going hoop forward or vertical? Hope you post some pics when done. I've got the ace sliders in route, looking for mid width bumper.

I did hoop forward as they told me that config comes with light tabs as shown in their pics on the jcr offroad site.

Will post!

Use a bed liner spray. I used raptor liner on mine and it has held up great. I have made contact with the front skid a few times and it still looks great.

After reading alot online I like the results people have achieved with the rustoleum spray bed liner. I got the etch primer, primer, and spray bedliner along with sanding supplies today. Will probably being doing it over the nights this weekend. Getting the bumper tmrw. My first major jeep mod, yes! Will move my comments to show and tell next, sorry for posting in the wrong forum.

still a "modified jk tech" question here: I've narrowed my search to a few mid lengths, this one included. Deciding factor will be which one needs the least modification to my jeep to fit. JCR site says bolts right on. Even with the '12 vacuum pumps in the way I'm hearing about, is this still the case? Let us know how it goes.
