Our Dagger Series will mount on a 2012 without any modifications to the vacuum pump. The Crusader series bumpers come with a relocation bracket.

The vacuum pump gets in the way on 2012's when the winch is set between the frame rails. If it mounts on top like this JCR, Poison Spyder, etc..My understanding is that you don't have to buy the relocation bracket.

I have the JCR Crusader Stubby. Coating it wasn't bad at all. Just cleaned it (wiped it down with mineral oil), primed it, and hit it with Duplicolor bed liner in a rattle can. Easy touch up too for scuffs and I like the flat/satish finish.

No modification at all for me. After paint dried I installed it with my wife in about 1 hour.

Show and tell in this link. I only had to purchase 18mm deep set socket and use a breaker bar over my socket wrench. Used the project-jk website for bumper take off directions. Probably the only irritating thing is the plastic screws that secure the air dams. I just started cutting them off with shears. Install directions for the JCR are under the stubby dagger bumper in PDF.

I like this bumper. How many inches does it extend from the grill. The stock bumper is 9 inches. Did you put a winch on it?

It sticks out exactly the same as the stock. I've got a Smittybilt XRC 10 mounted on mine.
