Shortly after I got my 09 4 door, I weighed it to see what I had and it weighed 4700.
That was in the stock attire.

Depending on options tire/rim choices 5k might be about right. I know my front and rear bumpers added ~300-350 & the winch was prob. close to another 100. After that you have heavier suspension items, such as control arms spring shocks drive shafts etc. If I had to guess I would say I threw on another 400-600 in suspension & bumpers. After that tires were prob. another 200 or so. So it is possible I'd say to reach around 5,000 lbs. Also if you have any type of recovery gear in your jeep like I do. Chain, cables, snatch block and othet things. Oh was anyone sitting in the jeep when it was weighed? That can also add hundreds to it without you thinking about it.

Yeah it's a 2.5 coil lift with complete control arms but no drive shafts. A little recovering gear but not fully loaded. No handyman or chains. For armor I have front Shrockworks electo plate, evap skid, front rear diff covers, heavy-duty oil pan, Shrockworks rockfails and front bumper. A rear expedition one bumper with factory rubicon rims and 35 MTR's

That and it is a COMMON misconception that the 2 dr weighs a lot less than the 4 door when in all honesty there isn't that big of a weight difference.

4150 was his weight
Are Jk' s that much heavier than older models
Is it safe to say the Wrangler is becoming fanicer and Hummer like?!

I was amazed how much more vehicles weigh these days. My 1968 CJ5 V6 weighs around 2400 lb, my 1982 Full Size V8 Bronco weighed around 3200 lb, while my 2Dr
V6 Explorer weighs over 3800 lb, and my 2011 JK without top and doors is theoretically over 4000 lb.
