Default Jeeps running stock driveshafts with 4" lift.

I would like to hear from people who have lifted their JKU's and didn't change out the front driveshaft. Just curious how many miles people are getting out of them after the lift before they fail.

3.5" lift here. Been wheeled and disco'ed quite a few times. Stock shaft is still fine after 45k miles and almost 3 years.

3.5" as well. Never disco'd as I haven't wheeled hard enough to need to, but I've had my lift on for 20k miles on no damage yet. I do plan to pick up some driveshafts eventually because I know these will go eventually.

4 in lift, tore the boot on my first wheeling trip post-lift. Drove it torn for easily another 7-10K and a few dozen more trips with no issue. Had a minor rattling sound towards the very end.

I'm at 3", wheeled disco'd regularly, 22K Miles so far. I'll be curious how long it lasts, but may just do a repair kid like:
Crown Automotive - Drive Shaft CV Joint Repair Kit - Fits 2007 to 2015 JK Wrangler and Rubicon,2-door models - 4WD.com
Works for the 4-dr too. Much cheaper.

almost 40k on mine, has been ripped nearly all of it. 3.5" lift, wheeled regularly with manual discos. No noises yet knock on wood.

Tearing the boot on the slip joint spline is no big deal, Just keep the grease to it. Its when you tear the rubber boot on the rzeppa joint that you are in trouble. Keep an eye for this.
