Although the Rancho bumper looks good and functional, and I really like it, I think they should offer a bumper only option, with a wider dimension to cross the corners and stand away from the body...

Default New bumper

I located an outstanding product on this forum. This is a very nicely done 7 GA steel, CAD designed LASER cut, etc., very sturdy bumper. I covered it in ($9/can) Rustoleum "textured" black paint. I have the Rugged Ridge skid plate and cut a couple of inches off the ends of the OE frame cover then repositioned it and drilled new mount holes. The rings/mounts were donated by a HUMMVEE a few years back and did time on my '84 CJ-7. This is a '09 Rubicon with a 2" lift.

Your best bet is just making your own like the one above, looks great and will cost much less. Be thankful you have a taste for simplicity, Everything I want costs a TON

I've been looking at the Rugged Ridge Modular XHD Front Bumper. Seems allot if people who bought it were happy with it.

I looked at that one too, it's nice. I was going for the traditional simple bumper. Now I nead a rear on that matches the front. I am thinking about having one made or going with an ORF, maybe the tube one.
