Here is my wish list for a front bumper.

1) must have fog light cut outs
2) must allow same or better approach angles
3) must have winch opening
4) winch must ride low between rails
5) must have a grill guard
6) my state requires a front license plate
7) must add to the looks of the front end
8) must include a skid plate for front end ( plastic just won't do)
9) must have tow bar hook ups that can be also be used for recovery
10) wife has to approve price

So what is really out there that has it all.

There are several that fit your requirements. AEV has it all, but is pricey, so I'm not sure about the last requirement. Some others to check out are Pure Jeep and Shockworks. You get a lot for your money with them.

It looks good, but does the engine overheat with the grill almost completely blocked.

I agree with your whole list except I no longer have a wife.

Not sure if you can see my bumper that well but I have a Nates 4X4 bumper, they make a stubby also.

Here is your ticket, meets everything on your list....well except for spousal approval.

When I put my shrockworks bumper on my wife said, ahhhh, the stock one made it nicer like a Cadilac, this one makes it look more rugged like! I took it as a compliment, even though she didn't mean it that way!

I dont have one yet, but the Shrockworks one is the top of my list.

I can't get direct spousal unit spending approval at the moment, so i just keep wandering in and out of the house with the sawzall and a hammer...

...sooner or later she'll get sick of her heart stopping everytime she sees me head towards the garage with tools at the ready... and just give in and let me get one.

You mean the other car paid $799 for it.

The reason I am worried about over heating is because I started towing a 24 ft solid side camper this year. With total weight just under the 3500 lb limit I don't want an over heating issue. Some of the set ups i've seen the larger winches cover to much of the grill. Over heating is a quick way to ruin a trip.
