jk bumpers
That's the Smittybilt SRC front grill guard bumper. I've had mine on order since April. The first batch is currently at the powder coater, and should be shipping soon. I am #6 in line to get one, and mine will be for sale for $400 as soon as it comes in. (I got tired of waiting and ordered a shrock) See the For Sale section if you are interested.
The reason I am worried about over heating is because I started towing a 24 ft solid side camper this year. With total weight just under the 3500 lb limit I don't want an over heating issue. Some of the set ups i've seen the larger winches cover to much of the grill. Over heating is a quick way to ruin a trip. . . .
I have the shrockworks stubby with the double hoops. It was the first one they made and sold, I had it LineXed and absolutly love it. I also have their rockrails and am waiting for them to release their rear bumper/tirecarrier. I was really impressed with the craftsmanship of their products.
My Expedition One trail series front bumper arrived last Friday in Seattle and was put on the same day. This bumper is rock solid and made well, all for an excellent price. I really like that the factory fog lights and winch mount directly to the bumper. I also like that the winch is partially concealed and protected, unlike some of the other bumpers for the JK.
I am pleased with the full width design, construction and overall look. It was certainly worth waiting for this bumper. I would recommend James and his product www.ExpeditionOne.biz to anyone.

It was very simple. Eight forward bolts that fit the existing frame holes and two sideways ones. It fits tight, like it should and it went right on once it was lined up. Adding the winch and lights were simple also as all the holes were there and these items just went in. One lesson I did learn was that I needed to put the lights on prior to putting the winch on to get access to secure the nuts.
It actually may have taken longer to take off the old bumper than to put on the new one.
