Dynomax.. What's the biggest difference between the EVO and the Rock Crawler?? I just purchased the EVO because I saw and heard it on project JK and it was awesome. But what's the advantage of the Rock Crawler? I'm not doing any rock crawling just moderate mud and trails. Is the EVO fine for that? Thanks

The biggest is difference is where the exhaust dumps.
On the Evolution Competition System in front of the rear axle.

On the "rock crawler" system the exhaust tubing will snake through the rear and dump out on the driver side.

Both systems use the same muffler, our polished SS Ultra Flo Welded.
Either system would be a good fit for your application.

Thanks so much.. I will keep my order with the EVO .. I prefer the exhaust to dump under and not to be seen at all... Thanks for your help... Now just kick back and wait for it to show up some time in a week or so..

Just wanted to add my 2c here. I got and installed the Dynomax VT system on my 2012 JKU a couple months ago now. Sound is great when you get on it and accelerate. There really is no droan at all when cruising which is great! I think I lost about 1 MPG, but this may be due to me stomping on the skinny pedal more off the line to hear the noise. :-). Overall happy so far. My Jeep certainly sounds more like it should now. Hopefully the MPG will go back up to its prior crapy level sometime if I can lay off the gas.

It's a nice feeling to have a great sounding system AND no drone!

Default No Drone dynomax rock crawler system with ripp long tube headers

I installed the dynomax rockcrawler system last year and it has no drone at all, I was sencitive to drone from running a gibson dual muffler cat back that was awfull.

I just installed Ripp headers with tuner and wow, growels like a hot rod and runs even better, with the high flow cats it is louder, I have a hushpower resonator that Ripp says is needed with any system due to the headers and hi flow cats.

The problem with the gibson I believe is that thay have no actual packing in the muffler body
