This rack does not require any drilling into the body. The bolts on the side are just bumpers. The bracket that the rack mounts to is mounted to the frame and comes up between the body and the bumper.

I think it looks great!! I see it compensates for the JK rake in the front. I wonder if there is a way to change that if you have leveled out your jeep? Plus, I think it would look even better if it were as close to the top of the JK in the front as it is in the back.

I need a rack system for work and play and just as I thought I've figured that I would go with congo cage you had to introduce this one to me. That ladder is sweet and the low profile of that rack is sweet. Price is high but compared to the other high cost racks this one appears to be worth every penny.

I couldnt drill into my body to mount a rack. just can't make myself do it.

I can't imagine the stock bumper offers any structural support.

It's plastic and pretty soft.

I wonder if that is just to aid in installation.

EDIT: AFter looking more at the photos, it looks like it wraps in behind the bumper and bolts to the frame. Thus it is not actually sitting on top of the bumper. See the images below.
