JK Roof Rack
I've had the GOBI rack on my unlimited for a couple of weeks now. This thing is a tank, no rattles. Grab the rack, pull, and the whole Jeep comes with it. The fit and finish are top notch. The install was straight forward and easy, however it does require at least two people to install due to the weight of the rack.
As far as the 1/2 covered floor, this was exactly what I was looking for. The front seats get and unobstructed view of the sky, and the gear goes up in the rear.
As far as wind noise goes, this rack was LOUD without lights mounted up front. However, now that the lights are mounted, the window noise has dropped significantly and is about what I expected. No noticeable wind noise until you break 65mph.

There is now a Gobi rack/AEV rear bumper working solution that was developed by Gobi. It is a no drill solution that allows to the products to work together without loss of functionality of either product.

I emailed them about the rack.. and got a quick response..
"The pricing is as follows:

Ax/Shovel 149.95
(2) sets PIAA 2100 470.00 ($235/set of 2)

At this time we are offering a special package price of $2,295.00. That

VERY expensive if you ask me.. unfortunately the price scratched the rack from my list.

The new brackets are in stock and being shipped. I currently have a 2008 Unlimited Rubicon with the AEV rear bumper w/o tire carrier and the latest edition of the Gobi Recon Stealth rack. I do have some random pictures, but nothing up close. I will be working on taking better pictures soon. Paul at Gobi has approved me sending this update out and looks forward to your interests and orders. Let him know you heard it from SummitJeep (John).
I got my stealth rack and put it on today and I love it
very strong, sturdy
took me a few hours at a leisurely pace
did it all alone too, though I would recommend two to put the main rack on the roof....i used the thick cardboard it came in to protect my jeep and I slid it up on the roof no problem, on top the cardboard
it was very well packed
I feel it was worth the money...now to put it to some use
cant wait to get some lights for it...any recommendations!?
