Easiest way is to push the bar up as far as it will go and bungee or zip tie both sides
to keep it from moving.
If you only secure one side, yourun a risk of slicing the opposite side tire if it flexs.
Ask me how I found this out.

I didn't like the option put the bar as high as possible. When flexed turning the wheels, the bar was rubbed by the tire.
I zip tie it at the original position, just above the coil support. The bar stays parallel tothe chassis.

My 2 cents

Sorry for asking in case this has already been posted.
I'm new to the whole jeep and modding thing, only been an owner of my jeep for about a month. I was looking into getting a sway bar disconect for my 11 sahara, the mopar
electronic disconnect is pretty pricey compared to the JKS disconnects, other then them having to be manually removed and put back on before and after use are they more recommended over the electronic?

I would not waste my hard earned money on a electronic sway bar disconnect. Get the jks quick discos. Super easy to install and use. Takes 10 seconds to do

I just push down or pull up on the bumper. How does a hammer help with this?

Thanks man! Is it necessary to get a pair for the rear also or only the front?

How hard are these to install? I tried searching for a write up but didn't have any luck.

no need to disconnect the rear. the rear will flex enough and still keep you stable.

By being able to tap them on the side when there being stiff and not wanting to go back on. And sometimes one person can't push down hard enough on the bumper and slide the discon back on, or that's what i've seem to find.
