Default Just changed my diff covers..

I bailed on working on muffler so I changed out my diff covers to a nice pair of Solids. I'll get more into the actual change and some words of wisdom to newbies, but one age old question: how much fluid? I followed WOL writeup and put 2 quarts is my 44 rear, but after searching a zillion posts for answers, can't find an actual answer. Is the general consenus a little over 1 quart for a 30 front? It's an X with 3.73s.
I read a bunch about the dispsticks, but the fill hole is in a different place. Sorry to be cnfused. Please don't be a flamer..
Too much fluid and it will puke, how do I know If I have too little?
Thanks
steve

fill to factory spec. the higher plug is so you can add the proper amount after you adjust for caster. The solidaxle covers DO NOT change the volume enough to matter.

Page 389 of my 2008 manual says bottom edge of fill hole. Does it give an actual number anywhere? The fill hole is in a different place on the new diff cover.

Trust me.. I'm not trying to get in a RTFM pissing match with anyone..

Am I just overthinking the fluid level thing?

If I remember right on my stock 44 rear and 30 front it took 2 qts for the rear and 1 for the front.

When I installed my Riddlers, I used 2.5 quarts in the rear D44 and 1.5 quarts in the front D30. None puked back out
