Just a little extra lift?
What exactly made you feel like you lost clearance? Were you rubbing fenders? If so, time to trim the stockers. Were you hitting your axel/pumpkin? A lift isn't gonna help there, only bigger tires.
Thank you all, I can't do tires yet without re-gearing, 35's and 4.10's, so if I do 1" spacers and replace control arms I'm guessing I will be ok? Will I need drop pitman arm or anything else?

I was hitting axle/pumpkins and I know tires are only fix for that, but I high centered a few times also on some big boulders. I crushed tailpipe, beat up my sliders and bumpers and every piece of metal underneath. I am going to trim stockers so not so worried about rubbing there.

The caster will be lower. (Does your current lift correct it for the 3.5" lift? If so, another inch won't be bad. If not...)
Driveshafts will be running at steeper angles, wearing out those tcase joints.
Brake lines will be stretched tighter.
Both axles will be offset further. (I assume you have brackets and will not be able to adjust?)
Taller bumpstops may be wanted.
Trackbar and draglink will be at steeper angles. (You mentioned a drop pitman - research the drawbacks and look in to high steer / draglink flip instead. But 'drive it' before buying anything, if you can deal with any handling differences, then don't worry about correction.)
Both swaybars will be angled down. Since the shocks will be short and limit the droop, this may not be an issue.

I don't see why you should have a problem unless your running some pretty gnarly trails. I run a 3.5" lift and never had issues with clearance outside obvious obstacles where you were going to rub no matter. I wouldn't run a 4.5" lift unless I planned on 40's personally.
Sounds like you might need to learn to read the trails better and pick better lines. Skid plates and sliders getting scored is normal. The only thing more lift is going to help is breakover angle.
