Default Just noticed

I just noticed this on my front drive shaft:

I replaced the clip but I am not sure how long this will last with that much seepage. Am I going to need to replace this anytime soon?

naw, you'll be fine like that for a while. once the grease dries up, it will squeak and if you keep on hitting your tranny pan, it can cause it to leak. a front u-joint style front drive shaft should be on your to do list but, it's not urgent.

i had the same problem as soon as i put the lift on (and as you know, it threw grease all over the undercarraige). but my fix was to use a zip tie instead of the factory clamp. others on the forum who used the factory clamp say it will just rip off again. the zip tie has a lower profile and so far has not been ripped off -and its been about two years.

I'll have to do that. I could not find a new clip anywhere.
