Just ordered Duratrac 35's and ProComp 7089 wheels
I have a Mopar 2" lift and I am looking to gain more room for my rims and Tires. What are my best options?
|
Through some 1" spacers in.
|
That seems like the quickest and cheapest option. Anyone have issues with these? I had the 2" put on so I didnt have to change the driveshaft. There is an issue with the driveshaft angle on the 2012 from what I have read, any bigger lift would require a new drive shaft. Would the spacers affect the angle?

I would Trim the flares too

Curious to see what people have to say. I'm waiting on my 35 duratracs as well with 16" 7069. I have 2.5 TF lift. Body lift isn't an option for me due to rear tire carrier being thrown out of alignment.
|
I added 1" TF spacers to my 2.5" TF coil lift. I have 35" tires (actually 34.5) and it worked well. I later added flat fenders and could run 37's but I don't want to go that big. I would suggest spacer or flat fenders or both.

Flat fenders should do it. I have a 3'' lift and 33'' tires. Plenty of room for 35'sif or when I go that route.

Tires might be in tomorrow, hopefully. I'm probably going to do the spacers and ill let you guys know how it turns out.

Good luck. Spacers should work
