Default Kc Day Lighters

did a search, didnt find anything....wondering if anyone did a write up on installing KC day lighters on A pillar?....I got the ligths, and the directions arent the best so I figured it would be helpful if I could at least pictures of someone elses installs. I looked at a few threads that just showed pictures of the lights on the a pillar, im more interested in battery/under hood, thanks!

Default kc's

I did the install a short time ago.Followed the KC directions and everything went smooth.Make sure you punch the wires through the little aluminum foil circle that goes right by the steering column through the firewall. use some wire loom on the wires that go into your hood and "BAM" it all looks real nice.Took me like a couple of hours and a few Heineikins to do the entire job.

Default KC

I did my install last night and it went smooth. I have no background in wiring things up and this was easy due to the other guys on this forum posting pictures of how to do this. Thanks

I could have sworn that I'd seen a thread where someone was giving instructions for an alternate power source that, when using, would ensure that the lights powered off when the key was removed (or vehicle powered down). The instructionw speak of alternate 12v sources.

I'm getting ready to wire up my lights in the next hour or so and wondered if another source exists?
