Key sequence trick to reset ignition
I was programming my superchips and got interrupted and disconnected my programmer during a tune ( brain fart ). Now I'm getting a code U0100 "lost comm with ECM" also when the programmer is plugged it while trying to reset the programmer it says " can't find ignition". Is there a key trick with the ignition I can do or do I need to get my ECM reflashed ?
I read this...Disconnecting the battery for 8hrs or more is just as good as re flashing, it completely resets the ECM/PCM. Any insights?

The first thing I would do is call them.
This is from the Superchips manual addressing what to do if power is interrupted during programming:
Contact customer care for assistance at 407.585.7000

Tread carefully. If its a 3.6, several people have had issues. Some had to get dealers to repair them. When a programmer gets interrupted it should go into a " backup " mode. Setting everything back to stock as a safety measure. My superchips and ds trinity have both done this (3.8L)few brain farts myself. If the programmer never married to your jeep, disconnect the battery terminals for a couple hours to reset your ecu. But if your jeep vin is shown on the screen when you first plug the tuner in " do not " reset your ecu. You could do more damage. Im no pro but i would call superchips and double check your issue.
Thank you. I will give them a call in the morning.... Meanwhile I disconnected both battery cables and gonna let it sit for 8hrs or more while I sleep. I read that this will completly rest the ECM. I hope that works, hope I did not fry my ECM

The programmer was already married to my jeep and the ViN number was saved, I was reprogramming it to 91 tune. So I should not disconnect the battery overnight if the programmer already saved my VIN?
Ill be calling them tomorrow too. Last Friday I tried to tune mine but my calibrations were not on file. So I uploaded a copy if my stock tune and haven't heard back since last Friday. In their defense, it was like 4:50pm their time.
