I have the game changer 3.5" lift and like it a lot, it does amazing well over wash board type trails and has very good flex.

Long travel and Pre runner are two different setups IMO.

Pre runner like TF is set up LCOG for dessert runs. Shocks tuned specific for it.

Travel is all in your shocks. I've seen rigs with modified shock mounts and 12-13" travel shocks and stock CA's out flex most jeeps on these forums.

I guess the question is ..... What do you want to do with the jeep ?

Well I spend most my time at hollister hills but I also like to go fast. Ideally king of hammers type setup would be what I want.

What's your budget?

Rock crawl/race and fly through the desert too? EVO has some good stuff. You are definately looking at a coilover suspension.$$$$$$$

Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

Just wanted to bump this thread for some updated opinions.

I'm thinking about doing the RK 3.5 Xfactor kit with King 2.5" shocks and King hydraulic bumps. Will this setup achieve a pretty capable crawler and a decent prerunner type set up? I know at the end of the day it's a straight axle Jeep and not a serious prerunner or trophy truck.

OR would I be better off going to a coilover setup instead? Cost wise this way might start getting a little out of hand.

Thanks for the input as I'm new to the Jeep world.
