i saw a way to turn it off on another forum, the only thing is the lights will stay on permently. it is something like grounding a purple wire somewhere. sorry not much help. i think it is the same as another model jeep. But you really might have something else affecting you here that is causing it. i know your aware the steering wheel is the key, and it has to be dead nuts center. i was a bout a inch on the outer area from off and the esp kept going off. most have no issue what so ever, as long as your set up correct. i do have the issue on the curves or the clover leafs, there is a TSB for 4x2's hopefully there is one for 4x4's. other than that it has never gone off in any other situation.
EDIT: the funny thing is, it was posted by michealw. his avatar on all the other pages is an anti jk-forum logo, whatever.

Only if I am driving like a bat outa hell.
Maybe your steering isn't quite aligned just so?

Did you recenter the steering wheel after the lift? When recentering my wheel, i noticed that it is possible to be 360 degrees off. In other words, if you recentered in the wrong direction, it can be a full turn off. On another note, it would be nice if there was a way to see what the steering wheel position sensor is reading. I dont know if its digital or just a variable resistor, but it would be nice to figure out a way to test it.

Oh please - like you'd really get rid of your pet monster!?! I don't think so!
Hope this thead helps. P.S. If you ever need to search for 3-letter words (i.e., "ESP") try adding a wildcard: i.e., "ESP*" (without the quotes).
