Default Sweet!

Thanks for the little write up! I adjusted my ride height this weekend on my coilovers and noticed how much the stock King spring isolator sucks. I'm thinking the price of the AGM's might be worth it, definitely easy to see the difference in quality

Wow, for the price on entry of the kings you think they would have used something a little better.

Theyre not sooo bad, I mean competition rigs use them all the time...they coulda probably spent a few more bucks on the R & D department, its not like your coils fall off or shock bodies cave in or anything like that. Its just with my application and with the extra preload and softer coils that things tend to bend and bind.

You think it'd be better to just order the aftermarket spacer set right off the bat and put em on the coilovers before the initial install?

Heck yea, I think I waited a little too late. There's already some minor damage on my shock body plus the coils never fully straightened out after they bowed and flexed out. I do have 2 extra sets of springs for back up and adjustment in case I get heavier or lighter. The customability on these shocks are great. Another idea that wouldn't be bad at all would be to have a couple extra set of springs with different rates, gauges, spring compressor, etc.

Just did it on mine before install. Though the fronts are a piece of cake, be prepared for work on the rear. The rears are a PIA and require a coil compressor to preload at least 2" to get the retainer out. 10" coils are going back in on mine, I don't want to have to fight to remove coils, all the time. At least ill have an extra set of 200 coils if I choose to go 200/250 in the front.

This is the last time I'm doing this, I swapped it out with 10" springs.
