Default kn air intake

does anyone else get a whining noise when they first hit the gas. it is a real high pitched whistle until 2000 rpms then it gets real deep and throaty (which i likey)

The whistle is indeed a common issue with an open element intake, have it with my Airaid. Concensus seems to be it comes from the throttle body and is just masked by the stock intake box.

DON'T over OIL the filter just a light even spray.....as you will get oil residue into your intake Tube if you over oil! Also, add a Pre-Filter if you are driving in Dusty road conditions....helps with filtering out the finer Silt particles and reduces the amount of times you need to clean your filter.
