I figure the they would last forever on the JK case the truck weighs 7600 lbs.

Surprised you placed on a C-load tire onto a 1 tonne Diesel Crew Cab truck....yikes I would be a little nervous as the tire gets older about splitting the sidewalls at highway speeds.

You would be right if they where C-load but they are D-load and very rarely carring a load of any kind. So more then enough tire for the truck.

I am happy they work for you, and maybe they make a better tire today than 5 years ago, but I certainly got burned on the deal. I could not even get them warrantied after getting my alignment checked and provided to the tire store. It was perfect. I was told they were a very low end tire...of course I was told this after i purchased them.

I was just having fun with th Barbie comment...we have to give each other a hard time . I am guilty, the tread on my durango was embarrasing. I still have nightmares. The replacement tire had a little more testosterone in it. Oh and yes...the size was only slightly larger than the standard Yugo tire.

At this point, I would be happy to have a 35" Khumo as compared to the stock bicycle tires I have on it now. I can't afford the $1,800 to put tires on it
Hey you know I was just having fun!!

Sorry...thought all Kuhmo's were C-load...as I remembered I looked at them for my 3500 CTD and steered clear as they told me the sizes I was looking at only came in C-load.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
No that's what I say to hookers. Usually preceeded with "Make me"

The kumhos wear out very fast and I have seen thicker sidewalls on a condom, but they are inexpensive

Look at the pics and you will see that mine are wearing well. I have 10,000+ on them. It looks like they are wearing slow to me. The scarey thing is last few front end alignments where done in my garage at the house. You got to know that the alignment is off a little and they are still wearing well.

Korean, actually. And I highly doubt that America is in trouble because of Kumho's guerrilla-like invasion tactics into the entry-priced tire world.
