I've been saying the warranty extension is for 7 years/70,000 miles, on those JKs built before March 10, 2010, which covers your 2008 JK for sure.

My apologies I was reading from my phone.Small screen. I thought your post was the Canadian warranty comment. Your post is correct. Thanks.

OK. It's all in the name of accurate information.
Someone had posted "between" dates, which was for the Canadian recall. I pointed out that one doesn't apply to US JKs.

Default I went through this and more

I had my t lines replaced at about 65k 2 years later they were at it again leaking a lot then MY trans went bye bye. so after I got that rebuilt the dealer says to me get an aftermarket tans cooler installed. I did then the line blew off and dumped all of my fluid allover the highway so I got hat redone no damage but then I noticed another leak this time from where the lines enter into the condenser for the ac and that cost me 650 at the dealer. but now that everything is alas and done I got new transmission out of it a new front drive shaft new condenser thing in the bottom of the radiator and a new trans cooler. so everything is excellent and the jeep is running better now that it ever has.

One thing I noted I am selling this one ( maybe ) if i get enough for it ) and looking to buy a new 2015.

I noticed a that all of the 2015 autos now have a trans cooler direct form the factory.. SO I I were you or any one else who isn't running with a trans cooler when you replace you lines add a cooler in to it as well .

The better transmission cooler in front of the radiator started with the 2012 models.

Well I got done cutting off the aluminum caps on mine (not in warranty anyway). New Jegs line and fuel line style clamps. I used the existing barbs on the end of the hard line as seen in the pics back a page. I'll keep checking on them and report any issues.

Had my second set replaced by warranty this past friday.

After taking a good look, I see there is no support from the Tranny all the way to the raditor. I can see the crimp on the hose loosing after several bounces. I was thinking tye-wraps can help stabilize the lines if I can find a place to secure them to. It may help prevent the leak.

What do yo guys think?

Nice job let me know how they work out. Have the same issue with my 09 out of warranty. Doesn't leak too bad yet but there is evidence that they are leaking. You wouldn't have a list of all parts needed and how to do this would you?

Parts I used from jegs.com

The alum caps came off like the guy on page 1 shows. Needed a small dremel. A flex cord neck helps. Then just dont cut too deep and use a flat head screw driver to open them up.
