Default Leveling Kit Advice

I am looking for a few answers about a leveling kit. I have an 08 Sahara that I plan to give a more aggressive look with a set of Dura Trac or STT tires and a small lift. My Sahara is currently a DD vehicle but plan to try some off roading. I have been very interested in the Teraflex leveling kit. (mainly because of price and style of driving I will be doing) Would I have to add anything else to the suspension because of the slight raise (shocks, etc), is this an ideal set up for a DD vehicle, and will a leveling kit significantly change the way my Sahara drives?

Only having the Sahara for a month now, I am looking for some advice from those who have had some experience with such a product. Love the vehicle and can't wait to put some mud on it!

Install it and go.

It's that easy.

1st hand experience. It is what I have right now.

I installed the TF coil leveling kit on my 2 dr about a month ago. It looks great and rides nice. I love it. I am running stock shocks at the moment. I will eventually upgrade to ome's. I have 32 inch wheels and don't plan on going any larger. I recently went wheeling with the front disconnected with no issues. Im very happy with this setup.

the leveling kit is a great option. It gives your stock JK just what it needs to make it look like a proper jeep. I would recommend coils if this is your permanent solution, or spacers if you plan on lifting higher.

Is there a major difference between these two kits, besides one showing coils? Is one going to ride better than the other if this is all your adding? stock shocks or add new ones?

Thanks

I am running the Teraflex Performance (coils) leveling kit and love it. I also added a 1/2" spacer on the front coil to compensate for my winch/bumper. I actually got about 2" front and back with it. I have the Rubicon so my shocks work well with it.

I just installed mine, I did only the spacers and I did not notice any change in the ride, I have the stock springs and shocks, the kit comes with everything you need. (except tools)

Some advice for the install, get a big ass crowbar. I had to use a 36" bar to put the springs back on and it was still a bitch, better yet get a spring compression tool, you can get them at any autoparts store, Sears or Harbor Freight. Trust me, it will make the install much easier. Below are my before and after pictures

I added the spacer TF leveling kit, it went on really easy and i havent had any problems. It provided enough extra room for some 33x12.5s, and i haven't had any rubbing while off roading. but my front springs sagged over time under the added weight of an ARB Bumper and winch. to fix that i went with OME springs up front and now its back to normal

Thanks to Derek's great deal, I am the proud owner of his certified pre-owned Teraflex leveling kit to go on my certified pre-owned JKU.

It goes on Saturday - so Derek, I'll be sending you pictures on Sunday.
