Lift Kit + Tires/Wheels
Looking to beef up my 2008 JK X and would like some advice. This jeep will be primarily a family/on-road use given that I live in Chicago. I'd like to put 35s on her and would like some recommendations.
For lift:
looking at full traction premium plus SRS
Tires:
BFG 35x12.5x15
Wheels:
15x8 MB72
Questions:
Would I need to add anything else to accomodate for the larger tires and lift? Would you recommend this setup?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Ryan

thanks for the info, ludski!
After thinking it thru, I actually decided to pass on the lift and bought a 2012 Rubicon instead
I had a very bare JKU and figured to get it where I wanted it, that buying the 2012 Rubi would get me about 90% of the way there. Also didn't hurt that the dealer gave me $1000 less for my old JKU than what I paid for it new in 2008!

JKU 09 X model.....
35" tires , 3" teraflex lift(ended up with 4") with the 4 flex arms and beefier track bar, levelled out, RR XHD bumper stinger, superchip, Yukon 5.13 gears(auto), Tom Woods front drive shaft..... Very happy with everything....(sorry 2 sets of tires and rims)
