I might switch to the Evo plush 3" coils and if I do so should I change my Tera flex shocks ?
If the evo coils only give 3" of lift on a 4 door I probably wouldn't waste my time with them since that is about the same as what the 2.5" teraflex lift nets. If they net more than 3" you should get longer shocks. You should see more on a 2 door.

Maybe I did a poor job of explaining..

For clarity, "rubi" springs really aren't the issue. The reason I suggested he get the springs and shocks from a 2012 rubi was more about the shocks than the springs.

What matters is the last two digits of the tags on the springs. Most JK 2DRs (which the OP has) have springs with the last two digits that are 14 in the front and 55 in the back or something close to that. Most JKUs, regardless of whether or not they are a rubicon, have 17/58 or 18/59 combinations depending on how they were equipped. Typically, going from 14/55 to 17/58 or 18/59 increases the height of a JK 2Dr by an inch or more. SOme have even said it was over 2 inches. My personal experience was about 1.5 inches.

Maybe you're in the wrong thread or something. I don't get why you would suggest anything having to do with rubicon take off suspension parts if the guy is trying to get a proper 3.5" lift. He doesn't want a 2 inch lift or a 1.5" lift he's looking for what components he needs to get aside from the springs to change his 2.5" teraflex lift into a 3.5" lift that doesn't drive poorly.

My apologies.. I just realized he has 2.5" coils, not 2.5" spacers.. That of course makes everything I said worthless to him.

Put spacer is cheapest way but spacer is not compress, it is same as that moved coil mount downward Thus stroke is same as previous one.

If you want go harder terrain, get other coil is better.

Coil lift vs spacer lift is deferent purposes.
Spacer is just raise it to get more ground clearance or to adjust height for looks.
Coil lift is not only raise it but also get more stroke for traction.

However more than 3.5" needs lot of parts, money and time.
All link and arms will be short then both axle will move to either side, prop shaft start vibrates, brake lines will too short and tends to wandering steer and death wobble will happen in worst case due to caster will change upright.

To solve those issue, needs money and time.
Since in my 4x4 experience.

Got a budget to work with?

You're looking at coils, front break lines, front lower adjustable control arms, rear upper control arms, longer rear sway bar links, longer shocks, and I think one or both drive shafts as well on a 2 door.

Can I put jks quick disconnects on the rear also ?
And I was going to put a long arm upgrade on it once I got coils. But I didn't think about the drive shafts and those are 500 a peice
