Default Lift Question.

will 1" coil spacer give you the same lift as a 1" bodylift? any downfall of goin 1" coil spacers over bodylift?

1" is 1". That said the coil spacer will give you additional ground clearance, the BL will not. IMO BLs look like dog sh1t. So what is the downfall? none

and how exactly will a coil lift, or any lift for that matter give you more ground clearance???

Coil lifts will raise anything that is affixed to the frame. While bodylifts would give more clearance for tires by raising the body, the frame and everything attached to it remains at the same level.

ya thanks for the quick reply. i hate body lifts to thats why i was wondering about the coil spacers. i was looking at the teraflex 2.5 coil lift with shocks, but i hear people have some rubbing with thier 35's, hopeing the coil spacers would help

isn't it the tire height that will change the amount of ground clearance??? The lift just allows you to run larger tires... i thought anyway.

tire size does affects both ground clearance of the belly and axles. a lift affects frame/belly clearance and a body lift affects fender clearance in realation to tires.

and OP... I am running the 2.5TF kit and 35s.... no rubbing
