i found a guy local selling his lift for pretty cheap ($250)
its this kit here: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380204859443&ssPageNam e=STRK:MEWAX:IT"]http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380204859443&ssPageNam e=STRK:MEWAX:IT
4" Rough Country
i was wondering what all else would i need to add to it?
i was thinking dual steering stabilizer, quick disco's,and adjustable control arms.
which control arms would i need, ive read that some people use different 1's
some just front upper and rear lower, and vice versa?
the kit has trackbar brackets, but would it be better to have an adjustable trackbar?

4" of lift is a lot of lift and if you have an automatic, you're gonna want to get a new front u-joint style drive shaft. adjustable front lower control arms to set your caster is also a bare minimum in my opinion. also, while this kit comes with a front track bar relocation bracket, i would recommend that you get a new adjustable track bar. being that you will be installing an new dropped pitman arm, you will need to keep the relocation bracket. longer brake lines wouldn't be bad to have either.
I'd look at brake lines and bump stops if they're not in the kit. That should give you what you absolutely need.
Adj track bars vs relocation brackets are, in theory, independant. The bracket helps correct geometry by keeping the bar more parallel with the axle. The adjustable bar helps to recenter the axle. Reality is that the bracket may correct things so that the axle is centered enough.
If you have an auto, you will have the driveshaft issues, you can search on that, there's plenty to read on the subject.
So...
-Adj track bars: put the kit on, if the axles are so far off you can't stand it, then get the adj TBs you need.
-Adj CAs: put the kit on, if it drives like junk, then spring for some CAs.
-Brake lines..Yes, stock are too short
-Bump stops...I think those shocks have integrated bump stops??
-Drive shafts...put the kit on, and drive it until the shaft starts failing, then get a new one.

ah yes, i forgot about bump stop extensions. you should pick up a set of those. as far as the shocks go, they do come with bump stops but, i would not recommend they be used in place of actual bump stop extensions.

so..front lower to adjust the caster, what about for the rear, i saw a pic of a green jeep w/ a lift and the rear wheels was closer to the runningboards, how do you get rid of that? rear upper or lower control arms?
you would need both to reposition your axle. if you just installed lowers, you would change your pinion angle and that's not good. honestly, it's not that big of a deal that your rear axle shifts forward a bit. all you need to do is trim the corner of your pinch seam. as far as running boards go, i personally wouldn't run a set as they would do nothing to protect your rockers.

i was looking into getting a set of rock sliders, so the running boards wont be on there much longer anyways
so basically heres what i will need to add:
steering stabilizer
quick disco's
adj. trackbar
longer brake lines
bumpstop extensions
front lower control arms
correct?
