lift suggestions
i have had questions before, but here it goes again. i want to put a body lift and a teraflex leveling kit on my rubicon. it is a 2 door, if it makes any difference. i would like to get 35 mud grapplers with the 1.5 spydertrax spacers. i am trying to keep my stock springs, shocks, etc.
I have gone to see two different dealers this past week. i asked about the 2.5 bb and i was told it creates driving problems, and the 2.5 coil lift made esp and abs problems, i could see this. They offer 3 inch teraflex lifts and they say i dont need new control arms because i have a rubicon. i thought this sounded funny, so i said i would check back.
the second dealer said i would never clear 35 with anything less a 4.5 long arm.
i argued with him about my idea and he said no way, so i just agreed and left.
i am going to use this for 95% daily driving and were i live, there are no rocks, so the only off roading would be mudding and trail rides. now i dont want rubbing everywhere i go, but i dont expect it to clear at full flex.
Any thoughts would be great

Here is mine with the 2.5 TF coil lift. I'm running 33's with lots of room to spare; 35's will fit with no problem.
I also added a adjustable front trackbar just because I didnt like the front axle to be off center; it handles and drives as good or better than stock.
that dealer gave you bad info after bad info. I would find a real 4x4 shop that has worked on some JKs. The most you can clear on the leveling kit is 35". But you could prolly add some extended bumpstops and go 35s. Lots of guys on here are running the teraflex 2.5" kit with no issues. It fits 35s great, and levels the jeep out. I think your leveling kit is a good idea, just get propper wheel offset by using spacers or wheels and add some taller bumpstops.
Just for reference, I have the 3" teraflex kit. I have all 8 control arms and JKS track bars front and rear. Shocks are ome LT. I am running 35" mudgrapplers... pretty sure I could fit 37s.

I had a 2" spacer lift at first on my jk, and I had more esp/abs issues with it than my tera 3". My jeep drives straighter and handles better on 35s than most stock jeeps do.

get your steering perfect and you likely wont have an issue. if it was me, I would add a track bar to the front and as money afforded lower front control arms. I like my stuff to drife perfect though.
